The Cleveland 1997 Indians pulled out all the stops tonight, winning the World Series in a hard-fought series with the Florida 1997 Marlins .

It was a seesaw affair, but with a 10-6 victory at Jacobs Field, Cleveland 1997 lay claim to the franchise's 1st championship.

"There's no denying we faced a tough opponent," said David Justice . "But as the old saying goes, 'when the going gets tough, the tough get going,' and that's what we did today."

The champs finished the regular season 0-0 and claimed 0th place in the Division 1.

A victory parade is set to be schedule in Cleveland 1997 in the days to come.
